Partnerships

Strategyn has been studying the innovation and product development processes for nearly 20 years. During this time, it has become clear that many organizations struggle with a myriad of challenges related to their innovation efforts. To help meet our clients' individual needs, we have forged partnerships with leading organizations that complement our services, mission and vision, allowing us to broaden our offerings.

The PQR Group - Leaders in TRIZ Problem Solving

Strategyn and the PQR Group, an international consulting and training firm specializing in the application of TRIZ principles (a systematic problem-solving method), formed a strategic alliance in Spring 2008. The alliance brings together Strategyn's groundbreaking methodologies of growth through innovation and PQR’s scientific approach to problem solving.

What do you do when you have a new concept for a service or product that you know your customer needs -- but it requires a new business model to make it profitable? What if you're trying to resolve design issues after a concept has been approved for development? Or what if you're trying to tackle the tough issues that arise in getting a design through the development process and to market? That's where TRIZ comes in.

Our partnership builds on Strategyn and PQR's strengths, ensuring that the innovation process is conducted in the proper sequence, and that creativity tools are applied at the right time and with the right amount of effort. Together, we have taken the mystery out of when and where to apply TRIZ thinking.

Ellen Domb, the founder of the PQR Group, serves as editor of The TRIZ Journal. In 2005, she was named a leading voice for the future by Quality Digest Magazine, which cited her work in integrating TRIZ into quality improvement and quality planning systems. Her clients include Dow Chemical, Hewlett-Packard and 3M.
