Eric Eskey
In his role as a Strategyn consultant, Eric Eskey has worked with
companies such as Washington Mutual, Microsoft, and others to
identify market opportunities, assess technological alternatives,
and bring breakthrough solutions to the market. In addition, he has
contributed to the ongoing development of Strategyn’s innovation
tool set.
Prior to joining Strategyn, Mr. Eskey led and managed the R&D
program team at Hewlett-Packard responsible for the design and
implementation of several high-volume, hard-copy printing and
imaging devices targeted at the personal and small work team
markets.
During his six years with HP’s business imaging and printing
business, Mr. Eskey was responsible for leading product
codevelopment relationships with Japanese and Swedish partners as
well as for jointly delivering products to the market through
design, tooling, procurement, and manufacturing operations in
Singapore, Malaysia, and China. He has applied his innovation and
ideation skills within HP partner firms such as Canon, Intel,
Tektronix, and Boeing.
Mr. Eskey is also a founding member of a new business creation team
in Boise, Idaho, that engages in ideation and proof-of-concept
activities along with the evaluation of business plans that are
ultimately presented to venture capitalists. He is also an adviser
in a new business start-up that is focused on the discovery and
application of weight loss and fitness principles to lifestyle
improvement.
Mr. Eskey holds several patents in imaging and printing
architecture, subsystem technologies, and industrial design, as well
as several provisional patents in the health and wellness, human
performance improvement, and fitness markets. He has a bachelor's
degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business
administration.
