Biography: Bruce joined Strategyn in 2005 after reading about the company’s customer-driven innovation process – praised in a competitor’s book! He started as the sole consultant, became CEO, and now manages a group that services major companies in Australia and Asia.
A former Air Force and 747 pilot-turned-entrepreneur, Bruce holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne.
In addition to his consultant services, Bruce writes and presents widely on innovation. He served as a founding member of the innovation board of the Brotherhood of St. Laurence and is a past president of the Melbourne chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
His driving philosophy is to enhance value creation among Australian organizations and promote recognition of and respect for the contributions that innovation and entrepreneurship make to Australia’s economic prosperity. And he is passionate about helping his clients grow their business.

Personal: I have a wonderful wife and two great kids, one an aspiring entrepreneur and the other an aspiring Olympian. I love spending time by myself in the remote wilderness in South West Tasmania – truly the most beautiful place on earth.
What You Don’t Know About Me: I’m a passionate farmer and bushwalker. We have a small weekend farm near Melbourne and spend way too much time and money getting it set up.
