Biography: Tom has over 15 years experience leading several successful management consulting firms, specializing in start up and entrepreneurial ventures within large corporations. With expertise in identifying/evaluating opportunity, Tom has extensive experience in creating successful businesses and divisions from the ground up. Formulating business growth strategies, Tom’s efforts and leadership have resulted in billions of dollars of revenue.

Tom was the SVP, Strategy Consulting at iXL/Scient, which had a quarterly revenue of $33 million and was publicly traded on the Nasdaq exchange. iXL is now part of the Razorfish agency, owned by Publcis Groupe. Notable clients included GE, Virgin Group, Delta Air Lines, Budget Rent-A-Car, Chase Bank, Merrill Lynch, The Home Depot, FedEx and WebMD.

Engagement leadership experience includes serving as: CTO through formulation and on launch team of iVillage; Chief Advisor to CEO of Abuzz Technologies, Inc. through development and launch; and, Vice President of Marketing for launch of First Virtual Holdings, the pioneering internet payment system backed by Electronic Data Systems, Inc, and First USA.

Tom has worked side-by-side with the founders of many venture backed startups to formulate business plans, define brand strategy, raise early stage capital, and develop product marketing strategies and create strategic growth plans. He was instrumental to the strategy formulation for the major acquisition for the networking software company, Blue Falcon Networks and NexTV, which is now Akimbo.

Tom Feegel is the founder of the environmental business strategy consulting firm Brand Neutral. Over the last few years, he has helped clients increase eco-efficiencies and capitalize on new media to create and sustain competitive advantage. Under Tom’s guidance, companies such as Philips and Smart Car US have successfully launched major media campaigns as well as hit strategic sales targets.

Tom has worked with Disney, NBC, Dell, Ford, Phillips, Smart Car, Pepsi, National Geographic, Healthy Child Healthy World, Girl Scouts of the USA, Kiva.org, National Wildlife Federation, Energy Star and The Vatican.

Spare Time: All things green. Tom is the author of “Green My Parents,” a book for young adults to implement energy and money saving programs at home and negotiate with their parents for a share of the savings.
